Exercises to do at home

There are many exercises to do at home so why join a gym when you can exercise in the comfort of your own home? If you have exercises to do at home they can be done at any time that is convenient for you. I am going to share with some of the best fat burning and toning exercises to do at home

My top 5 exercises to do at home

1) Squat thrusts

This is a great exercise for increasing your heart rate and toning your legs. You must make sure you fully extend your legs and keep your bum down for maximum benefits.

Repetitions: 20

Rest: 1 minute

Sets: 4

2) Spider press ups

Great exercise for working the upper body, obliques and burning calories as this one exercise works almost the whole body. This exercise requires a lot of upper-body strength so if you find it difficult than try a box press up instead.

Repetitions: 10

Rest: 1 minute

Sets: 4

3) Scissor kicks

This exercise is great for your lower abdominal s  Don’t try this exercise if you have lower back pain. If you feel your lower back hurting raise your legs higher in the air to ease the pressure of your back. If your back hurts than try the alternative lower back exercise on the video.

Repetitions: 20

Rest: 1 minute

Sets: 2

4) Bomb dive press ups

This exercise is harder then it looks. It is great for the shoulders and upper back.

Repetitions: 10

Rest: 1 minute

Sets: 4

5) Burpees

Last but not least is burpees. It is a tough exercise to do, particularly at the end of your work out. Keep the bum down as low as you can through both stages of extending and bending your legs. Perform a powerful jump and than continue the exercise.

Repetitions: 20

Rest: 1 minute

Sets: 4

These exercises to do at home take a whole body approach to exercise. You have your back, legs, arms, chest and abdominal s covered in these 5 exercises, Try them and let me know how you get on.
