How to tone your arms

How to tone your arms

how to tone your armsI will show you how to tone your arms using four exercises that can be done at home in under 30 minutes. If you have always wanted  to know how to tone your arms then this programme will be great for you as it will give you the answers you’re looking for and some exercises

you can use immediately. I suggest you do all 3 exercises.

How to tone your arms using home exercises

Exercise one: Tricep dip

One of my favourite exercises is the tricep dips.

Variations: You can have your legs straight or bent for this. Having straight legs makes it harder.

Progression:

Muscles worked – Triceps (back of the arms)

Repetitions: 12-15

Sets: 3

Equipment needed: Chair, a step or Swiss ball

Star rating: 4 out of 5

Exercise 2: Tricep push up

This is a more advanced exercise for the back of the arms and very effective.

Variations: You can do this on your knees to make it easier, or you can do it with your legs straight to make it harder.

Progression: Have your feet on a Swiss ball, or a chair.

Repetitions: 8-12

Sets: 3

Equipment needed: None, for the advanced option a chair or a Swiss ball.

Star rating: 5 out of 5

Exercise 3: Bicep curl

Even though your focus may be the back of the arms, you still need to have a balance between the front and the back of the arms.

Variation: Take an overhand grip to work a slightly different part of the bicep.

Progression: Increase your resistance.

Repetitions: 15-20

Sets: 6

Equipment needed: Dynabands, dumbbells

Star rating: 5 out of 5

Try this work out for 3 to 4 weeks before changing your routine. This is a great place to start as the exercises are both easy and effective. Feel free to leave a comment to let me know how your progressing.

Try training with a friend Mary. If that doesn’t work there are a few classes you can do like body pump that may help.

Very true. Most people start with enthusiasm and than stop, start; stop; start over and over again.
